What is the Asset Manager?

The Asset Manager is your central hub for uploading, managing, and monitoring all media files processed by SpeedSize — whether they are uploaded manually or optimized automatically from your website.

File Uploading

Click Show Upload Panel to expand the upload section.

Functionality:

• Manually upload media assets by simply dragging and dropping up to 20 files at a time for manual optimization.
• Supported formats are listed in the upload section.

File List

The File List provides a complete overview of all processed files, whether uploaded manually or automatically from your website.

Filters:

• Search file: Find files quickly by entering a specific URL.
• Filter by Status:
  • Optimized - Processing completed successfully.
  • Processing - File processing is currently in progress.
  • Incompressible - Compression could not be applied (usually due to the original file being too small or already overcompressed).
• Filter by Type: Images or Videos.
• Filter by Date.
• Manually Uploaded Files: Check this box to view only files you uploaded manually.

File Details

Once a file is marked as Optimized, click to expand and view details:

• Original: Download the optimized versions of your original files in specific formats, or export all available formats in bulk.

• Transformations: Review all transformations applied to the file by SpeedSize during processing.

• Linked URLs: See the original file URL(s) associated with this asset.
